Dresden Plate

Dresden plate quilts are a timeless tradition, and beautiful made with traditional, contemporary or modern fabrics.  In this class, we will make just one block to get you started (and hooked!).  You will make a Dresden with pointed segments, but we will discuss variations on the basic block including making curved segments, and mixing it up.  We will also cover ways that you can use your blocks in small projects, or ways to set your blocks in order to make your quilt any size that you want.  Resources will be provided to help you take the next steps after your first basic block.  No pattern is required, but you will need the Creative Grids Non-Slip 18 degree Dresden Plate Ruler (#CGR18CF), plus fabrics for one block.
