Ruler Quilting

Use rulers on your sewing machine with your free motion quilting to expand your quilting beyond stippling. In this class, we will explore motifs using the Angela Walters rulers from Creative Grids. Quilt free motion in the ditch, fill a block, embellish a border or try an allover design using these rulers and you will add an elegant look more commonly seen from long-arm quilting. We will demonstrate ruler use, how to use the ruler markings, and get you started with quilting designs. Students must know how to set up their machine for free-motion and have previous machine quilting experience.  Work on practice quilt sandwiches in class and get ready to do your own quilting on your next project!
